National parks take many forms, including this view of the backside (seen from the West) of Grand Teton National Park. The two promontories are the peaks of the Tetons. It does not hurt to recall that all places have back sides, where people live and attempt to prosper without the constant torrent of tourists. Yet Tetonia has its own economies: dryfarmed grain (note the grain elevators in the mid-ground), cattle raising, some fishing. and its proximity to the Park does bring in some casual tourism.
