After a week's cloudy weather, the smile of the Sun appears at last this morning. I have heared earlier of the "Stone Square" and planned to try a panorama at high view point. In order to welcome the 29th Olympic Games hold in 2008 in Beijing, a series of sightseeing spots along the 4th circle way, also known as the welcoming road of Olympic, had been finished. There are total five sections along the Welcoming Road, and they are named "Shining Gold", "Elegant Wood", "Effective Water", "Blazing Fire"and "Rich Soil" after the traditional Chinese theory of the five elements. The Stone Square is located at the "Elegant Wood" section.
The theme of the Stone Square is traditional Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting. There are six short path decorated with six different styles of Chinese calligraphy. An opened door and windows with Punctuation marks on keyboard symbolize the western culture incorporated into Chinese culture.
