Transport, Transport! Something that many tourists will remember after being on holiday to Bali; many (taxi) drivers want to make a buck or rupiah offering their transportation services. The Dokar (horse and carriage) is a form of transportation tourists don't see much anymore in areas like Kuta and Seminyak however. In 1998 there were still about 280 Dokars registered in Denpasar, the capital of Bali. These two Dokars were photographed on a quiet sunday afternoon in my hometown Singaraja, North Bali, in front of the main Singaraja Market, the Pasar Tingkat.
