For quite a few years now I have had this dream to travel the canadian west off the beaten track. I wanted to be selfcontained and be ready for almost any situation. Use the time to reflect on life and nature and go wherever the day may take you. This required transportation. Transportation capable of going off road, carrying gear, camper, atv, canoe, tools and spare parts. Oh, and yes...since I am into Photo-VR now....VRgear and computer station! The time to realize this dream came true for me this June. I went to Vancouver and started getting things together. Finally by July 18th I was ready to go on the roads. I am still on the road and what a trip it has been so far! Going from deepest rainforest regions to high alpine into the plains of southern Alberta. Grizzlies, Wolfes, Moose, Elks, Buffolos, Rattlesnakes and plenty more wildlife let me share their home. My transportation works great (10.000km already) and with the occational stop at Starbucks or at one of the fancier campgrounds with Wifi (like the one you see in the background here) I get to log on the internet and stay in touch with you, the world and clients for VR.
